Good Things to know about Hypnosis
Prepare yourself for excitement. Almost everyone initially has misconceptions about what hypnosis really is and what it can do for them. When you really do find out about what hypnosis can do you will be amazed, curious and want to know more. The following text explains the comfortable truth about hypnosis
“Is it safe to go into hypnosis?”
Absolutely. You enter hypnosis via a deep relaxation technique and the entire session is safe and controlled at all times. "What can Hypnosis help with?"

Can I be referred by my GP (Medical Doctor)?
Many doctors now refer people to Hypnotherapists. In the 1950's both the BMA (UK) and AMA (US) recognized the use of Hypnosis.
“Will I be under the hypnotists power?”
No. You are in charge – you cannot be made to do anything against your will and you cannot be taken into hypnosis if you do not want to (which is contrary to what most people believe!). It is your experience and you are in control throughout – which is why people can also practice self-hypnosis.
“What if I can’t be hypnotised?”
You can. Everyone can. As long as you wish to enter into hypnosis you will. "Can I bring a friend to my sessions?"
Absolutely! If you would like to bring a friend along to the initial free consultation, or to all sessions - that is quite all right. Friends are always welcome.
“What does it feel like?”
You are deeply relaxed and calm, aware of everything happening around you. It is a pleasant dream-like state, that is very similar to day-dreaming.
You will feel wonderfully relaxed and you may find that your sleep will be of much better quality, as a result of using hypnosis.
